Joyous National Tradition
Every year at Wolf Trap (the National Park for
the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.) the nation joins in
a Christmas sing-a-long. Traditional sacred music, Hannukah
and secular music are sung with accompaniment from The President's
Own United States Marine Band. What a thrill it is when 7,000
of us rise to sing the Hallelujah Chorus, praising the King
of Kings, and Lord of Lords. The event ends each year with candles
lit and the audience processional as we sing Silent Night.
