A Queen and a Queen

When Erika Harold, Miss America 2003, came to the Washington D.C Temple Visitors' Center on Saturday night (February 28, 2003), she freely shared her crown with many of the young women who were there in attendance. Here she poses with Eva Brady of Charlottesville, Virginia. Erika's platform during her reign as Miss America centered on abstinence. She was highly criticized by the pageant officials and many others--but she held her ground and has influenced and inspired untold thousands of youth across the nation.
