Thank you for printing the
article, "Seeing One Another Through" by Susan
Law Corpany. It was very insightful and just what I needed
to complete a spiritual feast on the Sabbath. I look forward
to many more articles by her. If you have a chance to forward
this to her, please let her know that her article really
touched me. Thank you.

Synchronicity is never the
same for the same person. It may seem like a miraculous
event for one person whose peers don't share the same belief.
Dr. Jung's example to some would just mean a beetle flew
through the window. I am not a person that seems prone to
such things as UFOs, or other such things, but synchronicity
found me. I didn't go looking for it. Is it God? Well, I
believe so and that's all I can say.

Boaz and Ruth: More Than
a Love Story, by Janet Lisonbee
Thanks for the article!
For what it’s worth, I just
read Psalms 45 today, and found it to be very closely related
to this topic.

Throwing Stones, by Don Staheli
I just read your article about
"throwing stones". I was so touched by what you
said. I am 81 years old and when I was raising my daughters,
I'm afraid I was too much like the parents of the teen-age
girl in the story. I would get so irritated with our girls
I would yell and punish them because I expected them to
be "adults" when they were just children. I guess
this was partially because I was an only child and my father
was like that. Expecting me to be perfect and live up to
his idea of perfection.
With my grandchildren and great-grandchildren
I still find myself being impatient. I wish so much I had
had someone to make me realize how much harm I was doing
and how to correct it. However, I should add that my dear
daughters have been very understanding and been wonderful
to me in spite of my shortcomings. I am blessed.

This article was very helpful
to me with what my family is experiencing in regards to
one teenage son. Thank you so much for this help and insight.
I regret that we have no LDS counselors of Brother Staheli's
stature here in South Florida, but I'm thankful Meridian
is so good about sharing valuable information!

Teaching the “Throwaway Kids”
by C.S. Bezas
I am the mother of 5 "throwaway"
kids. Several of them have diagnosed developmental disabilities.
One or two of the just have "attitude" secondary
to probable pre-adoption experiences. Unfortunately, many
of the church leaders in our local area see these kids as
not only difficult but not worth the time it takes to involve
them in activities.
I feel strongly that not only
seminary teachers would benefit from this article. I intend
to share this article with several of the people who have
callings of responsibility with regards to my children.
Thank you so much for writing
this piece. It actually reinforces my belief that we just
can't give up on these kids. I have a strong feeling that
my kids are with us for a reason and that the Lord made
way for them to come into our family.
