Sign the Marriage
Protection Petition
We have one week before
the vote in the Senate on the Marriage Protection Amendment,
defining marriage as the union of a man and a woman.
We are looking for twenty thousand signatures on this
petition from those who want to take a stand and raise
their voices to protect marriage. While you should email
or call the senators from your own state, this petition
is our message to the entire Senate that we believe
in marriage and want to see it protected in the United
States.
Family Leader will deliver
this petition to Senators Bill Frist and Harry Reid,
majority and minority leaders of the Senate on Monday,
June 5.

Dear Senator,
As a citizen concerned
about the future of our nation and the well-being of
the rising generation, I ask you to support the Marriage
Protection Amendment when considered by the Senate this
June. The strength of a nation depends on the
stability of its families, and an overwhelming majority
of Americans are committed to traditional marriage.
As citizens, we deserve the right to have our voices
heard, rather than have the institution of marriage
undermined by court decisions as it was in Massachusetts,
Maryland, and Nebraska. Our children deserve both
a mother and a father, and diluting the social institution
that makes that possible is an assault upon the future.
A vote for the Marriage Protection Amendment is a vote
for our children. Thank you.
Sincerely,
