SALT LAKE CITY — If you are struggling to understand computer technology and how it can help you organize and preserve your family history, now is your chance to learn. On Saturday, August 9, 2008, the Family History Library is offering classes on understanding technology and its uses.

The topics include:  “The Files on Your Computer, Part 1: Introduction, Understanding and Creating;”  “The Files on Your Computer, Part 2: Organizing; Flash Drives, Digital Recorders, and Digital Cameras;” and “Using USB and U3 Keys.”

SALT LAKE CITY — On Saturday, August 16, 2008 , the Family History Library is offering classes in Dutch Research for anyone with ancestors from the Netherlands .

SALT LAKE CITY — On Saturday, August 23, 2008, the Family History Library is offering classes in Italian Research.  The classes will include: “Finding the Place of Origin,”  “Basic Research,”   “Marriage Records,” “Reading Church and Civil Records,” and “Italian Research on the Internet.”  Classes run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
