Here, the prophet Joseph Smith is the tuner knob, the founding prophet of this dispensation. He was followed by other chosen prophets, whose names are engraved on each fret, representing continuing revelation down to the present time. President Hinckley is placed where the sound comes from, as the living voice of God. The hand represents the hand of God holding all in place. The Book of Mormon is the bridge keeping all in tune.
