The artist says, "The Book of Mormon promises the world a chance to heal itself. The tokens of the restored gospel are simple: water, pure oil, the scriptures, covenants-things that are accessible to everyone in the world. The gospel as revealed to Joseph Smith gives us direction, helps us see with more clarity and relies on revelation an prophecy rather than tradition." This piece uses found objects to create the look of a nineteenth century pharmaceutical cabinet. The medical bottles hold items that represent of the healing power of the gospel. Each also refers to a book of Mormon or Doctrine and Covenants scripture. The seven antique silver sacrament cups represent the seven gospel dispensations.
