Their Mothers Had Taught Them

This sculpture depicts one of Helaman's two thousand stripling warriors being taught by his mother. Around the base is a bas-relief history of the Lamanite converts who became the people of Ammon or the Anti-Nephi-Lehies. The story ends with the young soldiers going to war to protect their families and the Nephites.
